20%	I was at the restaurant on Friday night to take my father to supper to say thank you to him for all his hard work. I'm a regular at Dimitris and love to go there for the Chicken Souvlaki - which tastes so great BTW..... So...because I rave this fantastic dish so high both dad and I ordered it and yet again it was soooo good, however, both dad and I were violently ill Friday night. I didn't get out of bed until 4:30pm on Saturday. It's now Sunday night and I just finished my first decent meal including veggies; no meat. I feel weak, no energy, and i'll never get back this Canada Day long weekend again to have fun camping with friends. It gets better. I just called to speak with the manager and spoke with 'Jim'. At first I was told, "we're really busy right now and the manager doesn't really have time at the moment". I replied with, "well; I can understand that but I finally have the energy to call to make a very important complaint and would like to take just a short moment to speak with him". When Jim answered the phone, he explained that he had the chicken souvlaki that night as well but had it on a wrap and has felt fine all weekend. I told him that maybe it was the rice, maybe the potatoes. I'm not sure what it was but it was enough to set off sickness in two people who had the same meal at the same time. I've put the leftovers in the freezer and will take them to the health unit tomorrow. Update will follow.... Regulars and Dimitri diners beware...	Jul 02, 2013
100%	I am from Batawa so its nice that i dont have to travel far for good food. Staff make you feel like family and food is awesome. The outdoor patio is great in summer and winter.	Sep 17, 2012
