Ate there on 12 Mar 201 in the evening, this is the second time & probably the last, first time was at lunch about a month ago. The food is good for the most part, but we had to return cold soup. The service is close to being rude, one does not feel welcome, and it is dirty. The floors were sticky and the washrooms smelly. They decided to mop the floor with a high concentration of javel in the water while we were still eating, we left because of the smell.

There are better sushi restaurants in Ottawa which are cleaner, more friendly with better food.

We have been here a number of times and have never had a bad experience. The floors were greasy once in the winter and we talked to a manager and they were working on. A week later floors were fine. Food has always been good and service between excelent at fair depending on the rush. Price is on par given that they include beverage. However I would prefer lower price without the drink. We continue to go there and enjoy. We are taking a group of 15 on Friday so I will respond with how well that goes.

Good Food, but very dirty place....our table wasn't wiped down and there was garbage from the last meal under the table...the service was poor and the floor was pretty greasy...I'm not complaining about the price or the food, but I don't think we 'll be back!!!!

Like: nice decor, pretty good selection of dim sum on top of the standard AYCE sushi selection, sushi rolls didn't have too much rice.

Dislike: The sushi rolls with tempura had way too much tempura in it (we had snow roll and spicy salmon). Fried rice was pretty greasy. Cooked dishes (we had grilled sirloin, chicken teriyaki, and a fried rice) came out lukewarm rather than hot.

Tip: the grilled sirloin came rare to medium rare when we had it. If you like it more done, maybe write it down on the order sheet. Theoretically you can ask to have the dish sent back to be cooked some more; but you never know if you will get spit in it.

Such a great change from the old place there. Went to all you can eat lunch the other weekend with my whole family and we all loved it. Menu had lots to choose from, and food was delicious. It was a great price for all you can eat as well.

I found fusion house changes from the previous concept with their menu and the decor is great. There is now finally a great place to go to in the South end. Their Dim Sum is excellent. Everyone should give it a try

Went Friday night, party of two. we were seated by the front windows promply. very friendly service. Our drinks were always full, and the food was abundant...a few orders went missing but nothing to make us notice or complain. The food was fresh and flavorful. The sushi contained less rice and more filling than most AYCE sushi places in Ottawa (BONUS). We will be recommending to others and going back soon.

Long wait time, greasy floors, greasy utensils, stingy for providing more napkins, most of the dim sum are frozen goods and are reheated.

Why is this place so expensive? What is the reason? Is this special food? (e.g. All import from Japan)

Response on Oct 12, 2011 - 4:48 pm For me, I am willing to pay extra 1or2 bucks for better service, and I also found the food presentation is better than any other all you can eat restaurants in town.

Where is the fish & rice coming from? Are they all from JAPAN?
Where is the Salmon? I heard that from news, don't eat the Salmon from U.S.A.

Went here with a group of friends and we were all impressed with the food. We ordered so much dim sum that we hardly had room for sushi, but what we did have was good.

The combination of dim sum and sushi means there is an incredible variety of food. The beef dishes were of noticeably high quality. Everything tasted fresh.

Prices are on par with other AYCE places. Notably, drinks (with refills) are included in the price. Another important price note: THEY ACCEPT INTERAC!!! No need to pay fees at a creepy ATM like all the other sushi joints.

The decor was pleasant. I see other reviews complaining about no windows, but we were too busy enjoying the food to notice that.

We received everything we ordered, promptly - a marked difference from some other AYCE places where orders are forgotten or come out of order. The servers could have been a little more attentive, but we got everything we needed and nothing was forgotten.

We have long lamented the lack of All-You-Can-Eat sushi in our end of town. I suspect we'll be regular diners at Fusion House if every experience is as good as this one.

The only down side to our visit was an unfortunate outburst by a manager near the door of the kitchen. It's not pleasant to see that kind of interaction between employees.

Response on Oct 01, 2011 - 8:10 pm The prices are on par with other sushi restaurants that don't include drinks. Also, they include Interac, which is a big plus for me.

I went to the restaurant last week,a little more expensive than others, but the quality of the food remain about the same as other sushi restaurant. the only thing impressed me is the appearance of the dishes was decent.considering it's newly opened, there is room for improvement.

Fusion House just opened recently. We were excited about having a sushi restaurant in our neighbourhood, so I stopped by to pick up a menu, and surprisingly, they didn't have one! No menu, no website, nothing. They told me that lunch is $14.95 per person. Considering it's a brand new restaurant and quite far from downtown, I was shocked at how expensive it is! I think we'll be sticking with our old trusted "1000 island sushi", where lunch is cheaper AND the location is much better.

Response on Sep 29, 2011 - 2:12 pm I'm agree with you. It is so expensive. Sorry, dude, you are FIRE.
Response on Sep 29, 2011 - 2:19 pm The food is good. The taste is good. The money is no good. The management is no good. The service is slower. Also, don't make anythings wong. Customer always is NOT right in here.
Response on Oct 01, 2011 - 8:16 pm We've been long-time fans of 1000 Sushi Islands, but we find that the servers there have become rude, the decor is shabby, and our orders are often forgotten. Fusion House had great service and we got all our food, promptly. The price for lunch (on Saturday) is comparable, especially since drinks are included in the price - 1000 Sushi Islands charges extra for drinks.
Response on Oct 03, 2011 - 10:47 am 168 Sushi drink included too. The service is much better. You should try it.
Response on Nov 04, 2011 - 1:51 pm Expensive??? all of you idiots are on crack!!! 23$ for all you can eat dim sum and sushi is very reasonable...if you can't afford that...eat at Mcdonalds!!!
Response on Nov 16, 2011 - 6:24 pm My experience with fusion house has been great. These comments made are strange and unusual. I think the site admin should pay closer attention to some of the comments made on this site.
Response on Dec 11, 2011 - 12:46 am I agree. Quite expensive and a bad location. I tried Fusion House once, but will stick with 168 or 1000. Nothing special at Fusion House... although not BAD per say.
Response on Mar 13, 2012 - 6:19 pm you can't judge anyone by location because there is on such as a good location for all
