Hey Chris,What she eats or how many times will be determined by when she runs. If she runs in the mornnig or early afternoon she should eat eggs for protein, and oatmeal or hot cereal for carbs. If she competes later in the day she can have lunch in addition to her breakfast. For lunch something light is good like vegetables or a salad with a little bit of protein. During my meets, when I was in high school, I would snack on fruit and that worked out perfectly for me. I could never eat a lot before a race but it is important to eat something, for energy. So I would eat a piece of a banana, or grapes, or something simple like that (but not citrus fruits). Nothing fancy just a little fuel to get me through my races .As for the coconut water, it is a good source for electrolytes. I've had it a few times, but I'm not a consistent user of it. I hope this helps, and I wish your daughter luck this season. Keep me posted on her progress. xoxo MacKenzie

I just love this place. I have been here on so many occasion and it has been excellent every time. The manager has become a friend now and he really offers the best service for us. I notice that he treat all his costumers the same way.

I found this page while looking for sushi khan. What luck as I totally enjoy the food experience. Fast, efficient service. That is what I always look for.

I love this place, with the great variety of food, free drinks and free deserts. I hate those other places that advertise all you can eat, than they charge you an extra 5 dollars for your drinks and deserts.

I ordered some takeout last weekend from 168 and the sushi was fresh, well prepared and very tasty! My meal also came with miso soup and a small salad. This was terrific value for the price and I would say 168 is among the best of all sushi restaurants in the area.

I went to this restaurant twice last year and I must say that I left the place very happy (and full) every time. Even though I didn't exactly know what to order, I can't complain with their lunch buffet price. On top of that, I am a big eater and I sat there for 2 hours but the foods that I ordered were brought very fast. I really like it.

Although it was a bit hard to find this restaurant, am I ever glad we found the place! This has to be the best sushi place in town. It's spacious, clean, has great service, and an excellent selection of sushi. I'll be back many more times to try out the rest of the menu.

I LOVE the purple paint :) They have pictures of all the food choices so it is a great place for newbies. It has very fresh fish! I can't figure out why garlic bread is on their menu. Still, MUCH better service than Sakura, which is nearby.

Very disorganized Reception area, an array of Chinese, Korean, Japanese foods on the menu, Non sushi foods were not as appealing as other places I have eaten (banc sushi or Sushikan), and employees were not attentive. The menu setup was the best thing about this restaurant. The worst thing was the Extremely loud Club music which is not at all cohesive to a pleasant dining experience

I waited an hour for my food, while my friend got her dishes served to her nonstop.
When I asked someone (who turned out to be the OWNER) how long it would be for my next dishes, he snapped at me, banged his hand down on the side of my table....then when he brought my plate, literally DROPPED it on the table. It was so humiliating, everyone turned to stare. The fact that the OWNER did this is appalling.
Don't go into the service industry if you don't know how to deal with people, and/or if you have anger management issues. Doesn't matter how busy the restaurant is. You don't treat customers like that.

The food itself was mediocre. It made me sick, and after waiting so long, and being treated like that, I got turned off and didn't even notice. The poor, sweet servers they have there. Probably get treated like slaves. I feel so bad. Never returning.

Response on Sep 13, 2011 - 10:38 pm Are you sure you are on the right restaurant page? I been there many time and the manager bends over backyards to help improve the service. i see it with my own eyes.

LOVE the purple paint :) Staff barely spoke english, but that's nothing new for Japanese restaurants in this city. They have pictures of all the food choices so a great place for newbies. Very fresh fish! I have no idea why garlic bread is on their menu. Still, MUCH better service than Sakura nearby.

Excellent selection, some what better than the other near by sushi places. I really don't know how a profit can be made.

This place is HUGE! I didn't expect it to be so big! There's a good variety of food, too, something I haven't seen in other places, and the cokes and other non-alcoholic drinks being included in the price of your food is a nice bonus. Very nice place.
