We found Champa Thai by chance, but were blown away by the delightful, friendly service, the beautifully prepared food, and the enormous portion sizes. The price is very reasonable, and it's excellent value for the money. In fact, I'm eating last night's leftovers at my desk as I type this review, and enjoying them very much. Simply magnificent!!! The take out is unbelievable. You cannot eat in, but all dishes are guaranteed to delight your table, a very healthy option than pizza, THE BEST GREEK SALAD IN TOWN. Chicken Club Pita Plater with hot peppers on the side, rice, potatoes, crunchy greek salad....my mouth is watering, I am going to call right now, hope you enjoy it!!! Food was just okay, price was average. Overall the place is very average. There is no reason to chose this place over another however. It was great when they delivered because I don't drive, I would not go out of my way to get this food though. Bring back delivery and I will order from there again, until then I'm done with it. very slow and inexperienced servers who does not understand their own menu... a head-banded ninja looking server actually threw sauce plate onto the table, didn\\\'t say anything like \\\"sorry\\\", left that making clattering noise and walked away. takes about 20 min. between appt. to the meal with 4 servers and half full dining room. no individual plates were provided even after we asked for them.. curry plate and tom yum soup was not something you would ever order again.. pad thai was ok and pho soup was greasy.. doubt that we will be going back there ever again.. Everything tasted fabulous. Service fantastic, everything we needed or wanted was right there for us and the staff was great. Heaping portions, we even had a couple helpings to bring home. Today we have been to the chain Boston Pizza for the first time and chose the location close to our home, on St-Laurent Rd close to Donald. Well we truly regret our choice. It's simply the worst restaurant we have been to. We waited 10 minutes before getting a glass of water, and another 30 min to get our food. The worst thing is that the wait is not worth it. My Boston Royal \"gourmet\" pizza is not up to the taste of a regular all-dressed pizza at my local Pizza Pizza take out counter. At $10.99 for an 8\" pizza that is barely bigger than a regular slice at your local pizza joint, it is outrageouly expensive. My husband\'s Jambalaya Fettucine pasta is not well cooked: the pasta is not tender and the overall taste is so ordinary. We are so disappointed with our choice for a Saturday night dining out. To add insult to injury, we left and the waitress did not even say a word. I feel insulted because we felt obligated to leave a tip, but she and the restaurant did not deserve it at all. The barrhaven location made my girlfriend so sick I thought she was going to die, she actually passed out on our bathroom floor from the pain, and the only thing she ate that day was the sushi from the new barrhaven location. I ate the same stuff but she had more sashimi than I did... I would like to get a sample and see how much mercury is in it. It may not be related at all, but who knows. I'd have to agree with the reviewer below me, the location in barrhaven is much better... EVERY time I go to the carling location they forget half my order and don't understand a word I'm saying. I love the Japanese culture but this isn't Japan, if you're going to serve English customers, I think it's fair that they should at least be able to understand english. The food is good for a buffet. The service is the worst. The waitresses have no idea what they are doing and barely speak English. I ask for a fork, she brought me tea. I ask for the check about five times with a delay of 20 minutes. Value is a fair price. Atmosphere is loud and certain seating areas are dirty.
